Libraries

Over time we have produced a collection of libraries and utility applications designed to make the task of developing and administering Metastorm BPM systems as efficient as possible. They were developed primarily to make our development easier and quicker, and to allow our customers to administer their sites with as little help from us as possible.

Our customers use these utilities on a daily basis, and of course, so do we. As a result they are well tested and undergo constant revision.

		Process Mapping Development Tools Index - An 'At a Glance' guide to all Process Mapping Libraries and Custom Tools - PDF File (420Kb)
		The Metastorm BPM Toolkit - PDF file (2,105 Kb) A collection of Utilities and Administration forms to assist with system management and control. Includes a 'folder shredder' procedure, enhanced folder querying, system cleanup (old alerts and session records), folder activity (summarises system activity daily/weekly/monthly/user defined)
		Process Mapping Libraries - PDF file (1,547Kb) A collection of forms and form segments used to enhance Metastorm BPM functionality - includes 'Record Changes' (produces a detailed audit trail recording all form field updates in a user session) 'Form Scripts' (disable and colour buttons, grid totals) 'Email HTML Query Report' (enables user defined SQL queries to be emailed automatically to designated users at pre-defined intervals). Extended functionality for editable grids (Name/Value Pair dropdown columns, Insert/Delete buttons and much more).
		Optimizing Metastorm BPM - ZIP file (3.46Mb) This series of documents deals with preventing the need for form refreshes, how to benefit from client scripting, debugging tips and much more.
		User Details Admin Guide PDF File (1,051Kb) A secure and flexible alternative to the Metastorm BPM Users and Roles Utility enabling Business Units within an organsiation to set up and maintain user access to the system directly through the web browser (direct access to the MBPM database is not required). User monitoring, random password, password expiry and personal user password setup are some of the features available through this procedure.
		Table From Grid Library - PDF file (520Kb) A powerful tool that enables a variety of HTML tables to be produced directly from a form grid. HTML tables provide greater flexibility in terms of font size and layout particularly where printing in landscape mode is required. Features include the ability to produce tables with collapsible trees, folder trees, direct output to Excel, as well as fully customisable cascading tables.
		BPM Interwoven Automation - PDF File (776Kb) This is a complete server side integration product, allowing creation of and full control over Worksite workspaces seamlessley from within Metastorm BPM, all without any code being required. The BPM Interwoven Automation solution seamlessly automates the creation and maintenance of Interwoven WorkSpaces and custom attributes using fully configurable Web Service Calls and fully re-usable Metastorm BPM Map Segments. Special connectors are added directly to the Web Service Calls through the Metastorm Interwoven Library that enable the deployment of generic Web Services with user defined data extraction from XML files.
