The overall container of any Metastorm BPM
solution is the solution file itself. This solution file may
contain libraries and or projects. Projects may contain processes,
and admin form and report groups. They may also contain everything
library may contain. Libraries may contain connections, business
objects, form segments, flags, roles, server scripts, client
scripts, visual scripts and sub processes.
Libraries do not function on their own, but may
be included within any solution, giving you access to all of the
components included in the library. As the library is updated and
deployed, you may update your solution with the new version
deployed, to take advantage of the updated or bedded components.
You have the choice to use any deployed version of any particular
library within your solution.
Although it is possible to have both libraries
since projects in the same solution, it can be an intuitive sense
you must deploy the library before being able to use the components
it contains. For this reason we do not recommend doing this unless
there is a particular need, and developers understand how this will
work.
