Depending on the student’s level of experience and expertise, various courses  should  be considered.

There are several types of developers involved in Metastorm BPM systems.  Typically  these will include Metastorm developers, integration developers and  database  designers.

We recommend the Introductory Course, the Developer Course

After some time using Metastorm BPM to develop real-world solutions, we  recommend the Advanced Developer Course.

In addition, any of the other courses may be practical.

We recommend the Introductory Course to gain an understanding of how  Metastorm  BPM is used to build solutions.

Depending on the type of integration involved, various other courses could be  of  benefit. The most obvious is the .Net Integration Course.

The Advanced Developer Course may also be beneficial or alternatively a  Customised  Course should be considered.

We recommend the Introductory Course to gain an understanding of how  Metastorm  BPM is used to build solutions.

We also recommend the Developer Course to gain an understanding of how  Metastorm BPM is used as a development tool.

We recommend the Administrator Course

We also recommend the Introductory Course to gain an understanding of how  Metastorm BPM is used to build solutions.

Analysts will definitely need to attend the Introductory Course. Even if they  will be  writing specifications using another modelling tool, they will need to  understand how  Metastorm BPM works and is used to build solutions.

Although analysts will not require a Developer Course, we find that it will help  them  to gain a thorough understanding of the Metastorm BPM system. The  Developer  Course does not really enable students to become fully fledged  Metastorm BPM  developers in any case as it covers the main topics only.

When we refer to trainers, we are not talking about Metastorm BPM trainers.  That is  entirely different. Here we are referring to end user trainers.

We recommend the Introductory Course to gain an understanding of how  Metastorm  BPM is used to build solutions.

We also recommend the User Course, as this will show the Trainers what the  Users  will be introduced to.

We recommend that users attend the User Course

Management will typically not be interested in the development aspects of  the  Metastorm BPM environment as they will want to know how the system  will be used  to provide benefit to them, they will probably be interested in the  general approach -  and due to this we find the Introductory course is often  very useful.

In many cases managers will be required to use the system as well. This will  often  be for approval in Processes, or perhaps in order to use a Dashboard or  similar. In  this case we find the User Course to be very beneficial.

Process Owners on the other hand would seriously benefit from attending the  Development Course to gain an understanding of how their processes have  been  built to assist in issues such as process optimisation etc.
