Firstly, we receive a set of requirements. Typically this is in a Word document, and
also typically, the items are numbered using an outline of some kind. This is
important for us to track out details back to the original document.
Our preference is that the standard numbering system of Word is used, as this makes
everything that much easier for us going forward. This is not normally a problem.

We the import this document, as is, into Mind Manger:
We then wait a few seconds. This may be longer for complex docs, especially when
images are included - we often delete images before importing although they will be
imported into the Notes perfectly well.
What we end up with is the exact same text and structure as was in the Word
document, with our selected formatting. All headings are topics, in a tree, and all
body text is included in notes, along with images if they are added.
We now set the numbering in Mind Manager (this is why we like it to be standard, so
that it remains the same across both documents):
