This gives us easy access to the files in one single location.

One of the main reasons we do this is that we can create a Complied Hypertext Manifest, or help file, from the Mind Manager map that includes all the linked documents:

This can be sent to the customer and includes everything about the project, from requirements to delivery, along with the files themselves!
