Metastorm BPM
Metastorm BPM is the flagship product of Metastorm. It is the 'BPM' part of their BPM Suite, the execution engine.
It started out many years ago as an Oracle product, then became a Windows 'workflow' tool named 'e-work'. The addition of a web client, at the time, was the first in its field, and set the standard for others to follow. Metastorm liked it so much, they 'bought the company' that created it, Sysgenics.
Since then it has become 'Metastorm BPM' to reflect its place in a suite of programs offered by Metastorm as a fully rounded BPM Solution.
This next incarnation will be version 9 (skipping a number to allow all products to be aligned). This version has been quite a while in the making. We think, from what we have seen of it, that it is well worth the wait. It is a paradigm shift for the product that will give us most of what we have ever wanted from it. It will also set a bold standard for the future as a powerful product deeply embedded in the corporate Microsoft Architecture.

They have 12 years of experience using the product on a daily basis, and a combined product experience of over 50 years to call on, and two members were on the original development team of the product at Metastorm. As such, they are perfectly positioned to evaluate the potential benefit of this new version.
